Sharon Turney's artistic ability was evident at a very early age. She received her formal education at California College of Arts & Crafts (CCAC), in Oakland, CA, and proceeded to start a career in visual merchandising and store design for JCPenney. After 7 years of building props, designing fixtures, and creating signs & displays, she turned her focus to computer arts & graphic design.
Now with over ten years of experience as a freelance graphic artist and hundreds of projects to her credit, Sharon's fine artwork is a testimony to her creative talents on & off the computer. Specializing in album covers, CD packaging, logos, flyers, posters, brochures, book covers and much more, Sharon has been dubbed “Artiste Extraordinaire” and “Graphic Guru” by her clients. Also a Lyricist, Author & Children's Music Minister, Sharon, along with her husband, Don, Christian Producer, Musician & Composer, have established a Christian Publishing Company called KidsWorks, creating musical dramas for children that bring God's Word to life.
Sharon and her husband, Don Turney, have two grown daughters, and live in the East Bay Area, California.
