“Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 weeks and we absolutely loved everything about this house. The location is perfect, not too far from the lake, we walked twice a day just for the exercise :) The house itself is just beautiful and spacious, the kitchen has everything we needed. “The Escape was indeed the perfect get-away. It was just as pictured, well set up for family time, clean and comfortable. We spent five fun days with our adult children, three couples. We found everything we needed for meal prep, enjoyed some of the many board games, had a pingpong tournament. Easy access to Yosemite attractions. You'll find most groceries you need at the nearby market. Check out Two Guys Pizza, and if you enjoy a good historic pub, do not miss the Iron Door Saloon."

"Our group just returned from our 4th annual trip to The Escape and could not be happier. Our small group spends 4 nights here each March to relax, cook and eat way too much good food in the great kitchen, and play boardgames from morning to night. As always, the house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We have already begun to plan our 5th annual event for next year!"

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at your vacation home! We had a terrific time. I had no idea that the smaller beach was just down at the end of the street and it was perfect timing with most of the summer crowds gone and a nice quiet beach/lake all to ourselves! My little twin two year old girls were in heaven with the playground being right on the beach! We will definitely recommend your lovely home and will hopefully do this again next year! Thanks again."

The kitchen and beds were great, but the tub was wonderful to soak in after long hikes in Yosemite.

Loved the appliances in the house especially the efficient washer and dryer! The bath too was very popular after a long day sight-seeing. We're sorry to be leaving but will remember our time here forever."

We like to cook ourselves. We found all we need and beyond. The house has a lot of gathering space. Our kids enjoyed huge verity of table games and Disney's room. The house has a piano as well. We loved the house very much!"

"Beautiful, clean and comfortable home. We had 3 generations staying at "The Escape". We all love the home. We enjoyed the ping pong table, well stocked kitchen, and the easy access to areas of interest. It was a beautiful location to celebrate Christmas. We look forward to renting "The Escape" in the summer."

"Totally impressed with this house. Loved the floorplan, the kitchen is beautiful, comfy beds, great safe neighborhood. We stayed here just two nights for our Yosemite trip. Although Yosemite is about a 90 min - 2 hour drive (depending on where you're going), the drive wasn't bad at all. Upon check-in, we met Louise who is the sweetest lady. She gave us tips on driving to be careful of the deer - and she was right! We saw 4 deer right next to the road, so be careful driving in the neighborhood. The house is absolutely stunning. Our kids loved playing ping pong and inventing songs on the piano. Thank you!"

“We were a party of 4 (two couples) (8-30 - 9-2) We had a wonderful stay at "The Escape" The place was immaculate! The kitchen well stocked! We loved the deck and the location of the house. The house had everything needed for a great vacation! Loved the "Disney" room and my brother even played the piano. We were just 5-10 minutes from the entrance to the two beaches . And we were able to connect with other family members staying on the lake for some communal dinners at their house. We loved having
"The Escape" to retreat to. We enjoyed exploring the Little town of Groveland.

"The home was exactly as described. It is large, clean and well presented. The 'gated' community is peaceful and well cared for with a lake that 'if you have time' is ideal for a family to enjoy. There is a supermarket nearby for all one would need whilst on holiday. The one hour drive to Yosemite makes the home convenient to use as a base. Arrangements to collect and drop of keys etc were simple and communication with the owner were friendly and welcoming. The home is well appointed and has all the 'little things' one needs whilst enjoying the home ie: 'bottle opener and wine glasses!!!'."

"The Escape was very much an escape. Beautiful home. Full kitchen and comfortable beds Each day we drove for an adventure. The valley floor is about a 90 drive. Longer than anticipated because of icy roads. Day two we drove to Hutch hutchy which was incredible. Both days the drive was so worth it because of the beauty of the mountains. Saw bald eagles, deer, wild turkeys and salmanders. It was fantastic to come home after lots of hiking to crash before the fire and eat together. Great family vacation."

"This is a beautiful furnished home - stocked with board games, movies and everything else you need to have a good time after a long day in the woods. Louise is very warm hearted! The home is in close proximity to the lake which is awesome! We have to make it back someday!!"

"We had a lovely 4 night stay at this property in July. The check in procedure was really easy and the house really wowed us when we walked in.
The kitchen was well equipped and we made the most of the bbq.
The area is absolutely lovely, we spent a day at the lake enjoying the rental of kayaks and paddle boards. We were also close to Yosemite national park, where we spent a further 2 days.
Would recommend this property to any one who wants a quiet break."

"This home was wonderful! Stayed here the first week of June for our home base while visiting Yosemite. The house is beautiful, clean, really comfortable and has everything you need and want for a relaxing vacation. Spacious rooms, quiet and secluded-feeling yard, so relaxing on the deck was great. We saw deer walking through the yard while we sipped wine.
The drive to Yosemite is easy and scenic. Was great to come back and relax in the tub after a strenuous day of hikes.
If you stay here, you will be happy. We can’t wait to go back."

“Our family really enjoyed the stay at the Escape. The house is very roomy, and truly felt like home. The Escape provides everything required to make our short vacation extremely comfortable. The community lake is a great spot for the family to enjoy, and only a 5 minute walk from the house. It is a short 30 minute drive to Yosemite. Overall, we loved our experience. Sharon and Louise were delightful ladies. We totally recommend it. You wont regret it. (The house is spotless by the way, that is GREAT!!)"
