And formed the heavens’ lofty height

And set the sun and moon to flight

Where was I?

When You stored the wind and hail and snow

And traced the glaciers icy flow

And showed the rivers where to go

And taught the waves to leap and dance

And graced the land with trees and plants

Where was I?

When You skillfully created man

The crowning jewel of Your great plan

And sculpted him with Your own hand

To be with Him eternally
